Bilyaletdinov looking to justify Everton fans` faith
New Everton signing Diniyar Bilyaletdinov has described his welcome by the Everton fans as "great" and said that he must now justify their faith in his ability.
Bilyaletdinov made his debut for Everton in late August, coming on as substitute in the last minute of a 2-1 home win over Wigan before flying back to Russia on international duty.
"I haven`t really spoken much to anyone at the club, as I was there for just a short time. But it`s great how the fans greeted me," the player told Sport Express. "Now I have to justify their faith in me."
The 24-year-old midfielder also said that he rated his English as "three out of five."
"I shouldn`t have any major problems," he went on. "But I`m going to study more."
Bilyaletdinov was used as a left back by Russia manager Guus Hiddink during the national side`s comfortable 3-0 win over Lichtenstein in a 2010 World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
Russia face Wales in Cardiff on Wednesday as they attempt to overtake Germany at the top of Group 4.
